This is my ad in the HAMB classifieds. No responses after 2 months.
Sold in a day on FB marketplace.
Have a pair of '54 Cadillacs that have been on here for 2+ years.. Very little interest as whole cars and haven't had a question in over a year. They will be on Craigslist/FB shortly. May have to deal with scammers and picture collectors but I want to sell my stuff and those sites get actual results

@partsdawg I agree that you will get more eyes on the big sites.
For me, it boils down to a few things. This is a niche site. Smaller population plus a limited focus means fewer possible buyers and fewer items for sale. It's also worldwide, so that part you may be looking for could be out of reasonable reach.
    For example, I look for wheels 5x4.75 PCD and 2 15x4 to5 and 2 15x7 or 8.

    Search for "5x4.75 wheels"
result? First is from June and sold. Second is 4 from Dec 23 not staggered. Third is 4 from Feb 23 and also not staggered. Fourth is from 2015. I can try various different search terms to cast a wider net, but this proves the point.
CL has 31 results for the same exact wording from 9/7 with one local, the rest within a couple hundred miles. Nothing I want, but again shows why I'd look there.
I don't FB, so can't really provide results from there. I enter and start to scroll and it jams up and requires logging in. It had a better selection from what I did see.
It's the difference of holding a yard sale in a small quiet dead end street in a nice neighborhood and selling out of the back of your truck on the busy street in the part of town everyone drives through, good and bad.

Even so, $2100 for a clean '35 Tudor body is not a bad price. Of course, that assumes it is clean, who knows what kind of nightmares are hiding under that black primer.....

Sure seems to me that a lot of top chops roll right along until the builder finds out how much it costs to get glass for their creation. Then they get put up for sale. Replacement glass isn't cheap, custom glass costs a lot more then replacement glass.

I think about that every time I see a chopped car for sale, without glass.

In the pictures of that shorty Falcon, the windshield area looks like the builder added the roof, and spliced in a pair of windshield pillars, between the roof and the cowl and then stopped. Even if the guy did a great job of those splices and everything is perfect, it looks like it needs a full custom curved piece of glass for the windshield alone. Then he extended both doors by splicing the front part and the rear part together, if those are curved, (probably not on the Falcon, but maybe) that is two more pieces of custom cut curved glass, if you want side glass. I can't imagine how much all that custom curved glass would cost these days.

Holy shit, $200! Ultra rough, but that's so cheap for a convertible! Buy a hardtop Packard (which are pretty dirt cheap) and swap that stuff on there, totally do-able.
