    Hello,

On Friday, as we were running some errands, my wife happen to see row of black, white, grey cars lined up in a parking lot. Then she says... "There is an old hot rod parked in that lot." It was because the old 40 Ford sedan was a bright blue color and looked very nicely done. It was in a field of normal colors of daily drivers we are accustomed to seeing almost anywhere we go, outdoor parking lots, downtown streets and near those packed house athletic clubs for training or pickleball. (Black, grey white, no other colors...)

So, with clear eyes, she spots the color in a field of grays… it was a doozy. The bright color blue stood out, even so close to the clear blue sky and ocean nearby. It was one of the nicest 40 Ford sedans we had seen on the streets, recently. Even the Appletons stood out in the clear digital photo. She is getting better using the camera when we stop for a photo or two.

Since one of the busiest DMV offices in Laguna Hills closed recently (for what idiotic reason since other DMV offices are always crowded… duh!) this coastal location was unusually packed for a weekday.

The most obvious were the chromed reversed wheels. Wide, filled the wheel opening and good choice on tire size creating a lowered rake stance. But, the one thing we noticed was the blank license plate holder bracket on the trunk. Since this was a part of the busy DMV parking lot, perhaps the owner of the blue 40 Ford Sedan was inside getting a new registration and license plate.

Or for the next 20 days, a custom temporary plate with his information printed on the stiff paper product. YRMV
