Holy shit, $200! Ultra rough, but that's so cheap for a convertible! Buy a hardtop Packard (which are pretty dirt cheap) and swap that stuff on there, totally do-able.

  4. I’d talk as many termites as I could to hold hands good enough that I could make that Packard go and stop.

Well, maybe DD speed shop can drag it back for you. He seems to be zooming back and forth. I'll admit I don't have all those friendly northern locales fixed on a mental map.

That Hudson would be a nice cruiser if it can be revived with a reasonable amount of time and money.

Something tells me that South Dakota to Georgia would be considered a long road trip. ;)
I did think it was worth posting, even if it didn't meet @Big Dad s criteria.

The car looks very nice for the price. I personally don't want to buy any car without a title from anywhere close to a natural disaster area. I know there are a lot of people in the SE that are still recovering from the hurricane. You can count on people to go in and take things that aren't theirs and sell them. Wouldn't you hate to get a great deal like this one home only to find out someone has reported it stolen after they finally got back into their home? He would need to get a new title for me to buy it.

@snoc653 fully agree with your thoughts, but GA is one of those states where a title is not required, so I can understand why the seller may not have one.
https://www.dmv.org/ga-georgia/buy-sell/state-regulations.php#:~:text=Titles are not required in Georgia for vehicles,is newer than 1985, a titled is required.
Buying Without a Title or Registration
"Titles are not required in Georgia for vehicles 1985 or older, but you will need to provide the Bill of Sale when you register the car in your name, so be sure to take it with you to your local County Tag Office's Office. If the car is newer than 1985, a titled is required.
If the registration is missing, you'll need to go to your local County Tag Office's Office after contacting law enforcement to inspect the vehicle and the VIN. With this documentation and your Bill of Sale, you'll be able to register the car in your name."

I'll also mention flat Black hides a ton of sins and the pics aren't the best. I just wanted to say Hi to BigDad.

Was it on riks site that he posted regular updates where he would add something then take it off and try something else? Car seems familiar. If so, tons of work and inspiration.

That's Telstar, isn't it? Always got excited when he'd update his build thread, but nothing in a long time. Life changes, but I'm sorry he decided to part with it. Miles of welding on that car, cool as hell. So who knows the story?
