Nuthin cooler than a stick with a bench seat! My friend had a Chevelle in high school and he had an upholstery shop notch the bench for the shifter.:)

  21. so Saturday & Sundays project...went had tires mounted on the rims yesterday.. Thank You to Mike McM. at T & T Tire here in Tacoma... he helped me with the tires sizes .. came out great.. Thank You to Howie for all the help directing me in the right direction on what was the right rim choice.. my buddy Bruce let me use the big service station jack... made it so easy... only one hick up .. the previous owner must have taken the car to have the Rally's put at a tire shop... we had to tap one one stud were they cross threaded the lug nut.. Thanks to Robin got it chased and were good to go... wgn 2.jpg wgn3.jpg wgn 4.jpg wagon w1.jpg

  23. GAUGES.jpg next change up accessory gauges in the wagon. found a NOS SW panel... bought the SW reproduction green-line gauge set up.. Oil Pressure, Temperature Gauge 2 1/16" were easy to find ( Summit had them in the stock ) The Voltage gauges was sold out everywhere I looked.. late night Google search got lucky and found place in Wisconsin that had two in stock... now need to get rid of the modern looking gauges in the wagon

    Classy and classic!
I'm pretty sure that is the same set of S/W's and panel I put in my 67 Nova SS in 1983, still have them (and the car).

  25. Those green lines are great. Gauges are such an important part of the car's look. So many times I'll see a build with the crappiest mismatched stuff. You're paying attention to the good stuff. Waiting for an installed pic!

  26. slowly , getting rid of the modern stuff and putting more period looking stuff on.. the gauges in the car really bugged me... newer style gauges ( plus one had the bezel bent) .. next on the list.. car has a Blueprint 396 SBC.. Valve covers say Blueprint as does the freaking oil dipstick handle... also looking at remote oil filter set up... oil changes are going to be a bitch. loose header and disconnect clutch linkage.. Looking into Canton Racing other for adapter set up.. Blueprint bases there block off 1986-1999 late model 350 .. oil filter thread is 13/16"-16.. if anyone has suggestion that would great chime in,, Ty
