Posts 1051 and 1053 provide an interesting contrast between a lowered stocker with accessories and a custom version of the same model. Even the paint colour is similar.

 

Taildraggers have been around a long time.

Just noticed the hood scoop. Very very cool.

 

52-54 Mercury hood cut out, sectioned, and scoop opened
