After reading through this thread I’m glad I didn’t hit the play icon. It would have just pissed me off, and I don’t need any more of that in my life. I gots enough already.

To the defenders of this jerk. It’s not much different than saying let’s pack the USS Arizona full of TNT and blow it up to see what happens? Or cover the Statue Of Liberty with plastic explosive and set it off to see if we can make it implode? Neither of those seem like good ideas to me! And they’d piss me off to boot!

I would have loved to see that T fall on him when he was talking about the oil change. One of these days something will go wrong doing all that stupid stuff he does and hopefully he pays the price instead of his crew.

It was actually a 55. That 55 was a wagon that they considered rusty and not saveable at the time and not the Nomad that was depicted as being crushed. The truth is that the car they destroyed was made to look nice for the camera but it was destined for the crusher and would have already been crushed if not for appearing on the show. By today's standards, someone probably would have saved it.

It's his car. He can do what he wants with it. I remember watching the races at Islip Speedway on Long Island in the fifties. At the end of the night, they would have a demolition derby. Even as a kid I couldn't believe some of the cars they wrecked. I was around 11 at the time and already a car person and it was hard to see some of those cars wrecked. Some people will do crazy things for money. Even though they are only machines made of metal, I grew up with a respect for the automobile and I understood that there were and still are people who can't afford one.

 

Yeah! And hope it gets posted on you tube..... I'd be giggling my ass off...

 

Not much really, just 'product placement' (I assume, the guy might have bought it, yeah right!).
I guess any publicity is good publicity but is that really the case in this day and age when alienating customers has become all too common? I think they might want to think about it, as some of us do. But if they're happy because the guy gets lots of views then carry on, they won't miss me.
