The photo is pretty low resolution and doesn't blow up good but the bobbed frame horns came out pretty slick in my book.
I doubt the wheels are a bargaining point with a flipper but if you don't like them that is a bargaining point and not a deal breaker.

The interior looks like it was built for someone 5'8' and 140 lbs and the upholstery is the only thing that is a real turn off to me on that car. Still you have to know what is under/around the seat to allow you to make changes and then consider what those changes will cost. Just as with the wheels and maybe more so because you can sell wheels you don't like or stick them on something you plan to sell changing the interior is an added cost. Screenshot (1684).png

Based on the tag on the windshield it’s an insurance auction. A front end can slide like that for lots of reasons the simplest would be it broke a leaf and the pieces fell out allowing the tie bolt to come out of the hole in the cross member now that the u bolts aren’t tight and slide over.

One of the rear wheels is bent too. I’m guessing the car got hit or knocked a curb.

I was looking for the wheel lol. Bet it got hit in the back wheel and it swung around and tapped the front hard enough to jostle it but not hard enough to be super obvious where contact was on the front end

I recall having a 32 chassis on stands & over time began partially assembling a body from pieces & cast-off parts when the frame did a 90-degree flip on the unsecured center spring mounts, while the key fasteners were lacking it makes one wonder how the early traverse springers did so well on the dirt tracks.

It looks like cross steer with no panhard bar. With a bit of what Fordors said in post 30 possibly in the mix or just loose U bolts or clamp bolts if it has that clamp setup that street rodders tend to like that doesn't use U bolts. I'm thinking that if Alldone is considering buying it he already has a list of things to make the car right before it hits the road and the price is friendly enough to be able to do it.

I personally like this '32 and the work done to it. I really don't like the interior at all. Not the color, the way it sits forward, or anything about the seats and door panels. I also like the wheels, but I'd prefer the back tires to be narrower, so maybe a new set of wheels, or at least new rear wheels and tires?
If the price is right, or seller wants to reduce it to help you make the changes, then I'd say go for it.

Ok, I went out and looked this over better....here's my assessment... the OG cross member is still there, and a new spring bolt.... there's no damage visable.. I'm thinking that maybe water was in volved and the car spun out and hit the curb.... those sportsman 16.5 wide tires hydro plane bad..... and like said it's a wonder it didn't flip.... and again the reason it didn't was the 33'' wide rubber kept it flat...

After a hit like that to the front end, I would be real nervous about there being cracks or damage to any of the steering and suspension components and all their mounting points. Was it just patched up to get it offloaded to some unsuspecting schmuck, or has it been fully gone through to make sure it will not be prone to future failure?
    Are you a gambling man???

I really like the style of this roadster... a guy name pete... or jake... or something like that built it back in the 80's...suspposed to be traditional... but they didn't have the HAMB then to spread the gospel of hot rods.. or the rock tablets

I've always wondered how they got the hood sides off ,.. is the center orange oval part of the header??

I say it sheared the head off the spring bolt..... for it to do more damage it would have knocked the axel complete off... I think.... I have a lift in my back garage and thats where it's going next... car runs and drives perfect and goes straight... if it would have had a panhard bar it would have ripped the front apart.. when I went to get the car is was that i was gonna blow it apart and rebuild it.... but after driving it.....lotta thinking going on in the old squirrel cage...
I run with scissors and have never wore a condom... how bad could the car be

so here's the deal on the seat....and why it looks off...the seat is back way far enough... but what they was to wrap the seat top all the waay over the part where you put the wood for the soft top... I gotta say it's one of the most comfortable roadster seats i've ever sat in... I'm 5-9 and 200 lbs I fit fine, my wifes 5-2 105ish ... so way plenty of room... wrapping the seat over the body gives it that living room sofa look.... when I was thinking about this car,... I just looked at the pile of parts, and the main thing is needing an auto trans...not crazy about the YELLOW paint but... maybe it'll grow on me.. I keep seeing brookville bodys, my thought was to pull the body and put a steel body... but as the pecking order still goes, glass at the bottom, bV middle and real at the top.. I don't think theres any gain to taking this car apart... I never even had a thought that this car would run, drive, and be as comfortable to sit in... doing a real good detail is gonna do wonders for this car....so as it is now I have one car for every year from 1923 to 1929 missing a 1930 and have 1931&1932

the first thing is gonna be tires and wheels.... I'm not even close to having a plan there... one plan was 5-50 & 7-50 tires on 16 x 5 and 6 wide tan steel wheels.... the yellow is gonna be tough.... but chrome always goes good with chrome yellow..some thing like this???

Boy Howdy, that seat looks a lot better in your photos than it did in their photos.
The good and maybe the bad is that there isn't a wheel in existence that will overpower it and turn a photo of the car into a wheel add with the car as the background.

thanks for the kind words...... not understanding the second sentence....but... where as the seat and wheels and tires being on the top of the list I just moved the seat farther down... i used to own a trim shop till I just couldn't take try'n to run a trim shop with the drug addic glue sniffers anymore... I'm just gonna take a way longer look at the seat to figure out a way to make it not look like a lazyboy recliner... might just have to figure it out when it's removed,.. most likely strip it all out and start over....but like said there's bigger fish to fry right now...

I don't mind any part of the car, and buying it for pennies on the dollar for the cost of hard parts alone from CoPart (or wherever) makes it better. Good on ya for saving it and scoring a deal. A buddy of mine bought an unfinished 'glass Duece roadster from an estate sale, a project started in the early 90's and never finished. He completed the wiring, did an interior on the cheap, got the Tuned Port 350 running (it had sat for 20 years), did some tinkering, got some kinks out, up and driving and sold it to the first guy that called from a FB Marketplace ad 10 miles from his place. More than doubled his money, the buyer got a good deal as well. It had the typical "street rod from the 90's" IFS, the body was in black gel-coat but, everybody was happy.
