Featured History 28-31 MODEL A THAT DOES IT FOR YOU! Feel free to post your Model A

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Dec 14, 2024.

  1. I believe that most of the Hambers like Model A's and I would guess many of us have owned one at some time in our lives. I don't own one now but have had a 1930 pickup, a 1928 Tudor sedan, a 1930 coupe and two 1931 Vicky ( they never got built ) and I may have one again someday.

Lets see what you like. HRP

This Model A most likely belongs to a Hamber and I saved the photo a long time ago along with several others that I will post as the thread grows, I have a few Model A's and other cars saved in my album titled "Cars that trip my trigger"

Rustisgold, I think he is also the builder.

Hey hotrodprimer! Maybe the wrong answer but my new yt channel will showcase 5 or 6 badass model a hot rods in the near future amongst other traditional hod rods and kustoms. The first video is out and its a chopped 29 tudor, work in progress, out plowing hay…
Check it out: Rods and kustoms with Lars on yt.

I had this coupe in my shop doing the interior for about a month. I really liked so much I would buy it if he wanted to sell.

I love a model a roadster on 32 rails or a fender less coupe chopped , but some of the Model A’s that stand out in my brain over the years are all full fendered

It is so great, Danny, that you are again active asking the questions that stir us up.
It so happened that growing up until age twelve my father had my sister and I, on weekends cruising in survivor Model As.
I dig them all but am very attached to the coupe body, with or without (actually cycles) fenders.
Pleasing my eye, is no chop, but I can tolerate up to a 3".;)
    Thank You for asking

I found more pics by using a Google Image search and a little info. Some have to be fixed to be posted. (edit...they have been "fixed" and posted.)

    "1931 Ford Model A coupe

Really nice older resto car then decided to do full on traditional Hot rod. Ricky Bobbys rod shop did the transformation. The car was a really nice no rust ever car no patches or filler. Brand new build on a 49 flatty with a T5 to back it up. Cruises at 75 no issues. Electric fan and aluminum radiator. 40 Lincoln brakes and rear. So cal shocks and beam. 32 Ford Wires with all new Coker tires. 39 ford column with banjo steering wheel. 32 deluxe grille shell with 32 commercial lights. No expenses spared no junk all new parts. Check out Ricky Bobbys builds they are the real deal. This car is driven not just trailered around if you want a real deal driver this is your car. Feel free to call me 615-504-9834 Matt Hooper. Honestly if you are really interested its easier to call for all the info"
