  1. Yeah it'll be at the park again, you're welcome to stay in your camper.

Since there isn't a Lloydstock 2025 thread yet let me say here: we have reserved the same cabin we stayed in this year for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. See ya there.

  3. Hey Atch......You must have been reading my mind!

I just told Laura last night that I gotta get busy & book our same cabin again as well. Heading out on a transport, so it will probably be Wednesday when I book ours. Already looking for ward to the 2025 Lloydfest & have just this last week told two other Hambers in person about it. One is probably an hour or less away in Lawrenceburg, Ky

    God Bless

  4. We have the weekend cleared as well. If all goes well, hopefully we can stay in the same place as this year.

--I was watching the 2023 Lloydfest thread and thought what a great idea. Later I started watching this thread (Lloydfest 2024) and considered coming but decided to go to Truckstock in Pennsylvania instead... So now I am planning to go to LF2025. I went thru this entire LF2024 thread to get info. WOW, it sure has gotten bigger.
--So LL2025 will be Sept 5-6.. And it will be at Jefferson City park? With camping available at Camargo Park? Or is it all at Camargo Park? And camping will be OK? I plan to drive my 56 F100 and tow my 58 Easy Travler 13' camping trailer and stay in it. I don't need power or water- but restroom and shower would be nice. Or maybe I should rent a spot at a RV park near? Unless something big happens to change my mind, I will come. Lloyd, I met you and your ex at Bowling Green a few years ago. You prolly wouldn't remember me as I and a buddy walked up to you guys- I recognized your car from the hamb- Not the same one you have now. Anyway- When will you start the 2025 Lloydfest Thread? Thanks for doing this!!

    Bill,

We're all extremely glad that Laura is well enough for you to leave, even if only for a couple of days. See ya in KY.

  7. Hey Greg, I remember meeting you in Bowling Green! I'll start a thread on 2025 pretty soon. It's all at the park in Camargo, and yeah bring that camper. There's no electric hookup or such, but a generator is no problem, unless Neely and Sherman start bitching about it :D I bought a 1970 Shasta, I plan on a hitch for my wagon to pull it, so maybe I'll bring it. Lot of work to do on it, and not much time. Guess I could clean the raccoon shit out and roll with it lmao! I think John B said we had 8 states this time, last year I had Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana. Since the inception I've said that I don't care if 5 people show up, we're still gonna try to have a good time. Some guys had trouble arise and couldn't make it this year, that's normal. We missed em though. Hell Merkson is already building his valve cover for next year's race! If it seems like there's gonna be a lot of people in 25, I'll do that race better. I bought the stuff to make the track, but we only had 3 racers. But yeah, weekend after labor day. Plan to have the bathroom repaired this spring so nobody has to use the portajohn

  11. Don't know if I will ever get time to build a hot rod valve cover racer, but I finally did lock in my cabin again (same cabin as last year) way up in the Kentucky Mountains for Lloydfest 2025! I booked it for Thursday night the 4th through Sunday night the 8th of September

Make sure all you folks mark your calendars for this get together!!!!!

    God Bless & Merry Christmas

  12. We'll make sure this is the best one so far brother  I'm gonna open it up locally this time. 1965 and down. I'll put it on the cruise night page in the spring. That's the website that lists everything car related in Kentucky, and some further events. Me and the fire chief surveyed the park, I think I can get up to 200 cars in with no problem. Big plans, more to come. I'll start a thread on 2025 when the calendar flips over. Looking forward to seeing everybody, that's for sure. :D

So glad to hear that Laura is well enough for you to go on a transport run. Merry Christmas, Bill!

  14. Thank you Jeff & Merry Christmas to you my Friend!

She has really come a long way since the spine surgery & can now walk with a cane or a walker with very little trouble. I was able to run a bunch of transport trips that only kept me away from home one or two nights from the 1st of Oct until late last week. Now done for the season!

@Lloyd's paint & glass ....That sounds great & thanks for the call today my friend, I needed it!

    God Bless

  17. Bill, I hope Laura's ready for that sports car soon!

  18. Anytime big guy. My door is open. Address is on my profile. Come on down and we'll destroy some bourbon!

  19. I know that @Lloyd's paint & glass has always said...." I don't give a crap if 100 people or 10 people show up, we will have a great time" But Me personally I want a bunch more Hambers to attend & maybe kick in a bit to help out!

Lloyd will be doing a Lloydfest 2025 thread sometime coming up, but wanted to get this one in on the 2024 thread. In 2023 I brought all the ingredients & made Smores for all the ladies. I had planned to do the same for '24 , but because of Laura's nutritional program to fight her cancer would not allow her to eat Smores....I just couldn't do it & have her sit there & watch!

For 2025 I will again be bringing all the goodies (this time I will have paper plates & napkins)! Sorry to the ladies at 2023 whom had to get them right out of my hand!:p I will also be bringing a little something for the guys to still get the Smores taste!:D

God Bless & Happy New Year My Friends!

  20. LMAO! Looking back I am sure there were a couple of the ladies who may have not been used to being around a campfire with a bunch of guys like us were a bit "Grossed out" with me licking my fingers between each serving! LMAO  But by then as documented by the pictures of me sitting on Lloyd's lap or the one with him blowing in my ear....We may have partaken in one or more adult beverages:p

Just in case our "antics" might give some Hambers pause to come to the next Lloydfest...We had just as much fun in '24 with little or NO alcohol! This is a Family First get together!!!!

    God Bless

Doing the same stuff with little or no alcohol consumed makes me very scared to attend once my like gets back on track!

  22. Happy New Year to all veterans of Lloydfest, hope to see some of you ,if not all soon.

  23. Just a few in that picture, but we had a great time!

  25. Yes we did! In fact that Thursday night dinner was perfect. After driving all day & getting unloaded in our cabin, it was a great way to unwind before the actual festivities started!

God Bless & Happy New Year
