The small reference was to the picture showing 2 adults & a child sitting side be side in a Tbucket seat ..nothing to do with the power train .

a guess is that the leg room is where the engine was and side to side they 'sucked in'

My all time favorite exhaust system on a T bucket. Great car.
Looks like he’s taking advantage of a day at the races to open them up too!

Interesting that the green T with the Buick engine has a 4-lug rear axle. So maybe a Falcon? Can’t imagine it would last long behind a Buick. But maybe it is the 215 aluminum engine.

  16. The only saving grace for the 4 lug rear axle is the car is light, and probably just spins, I doubt it would hook very well with those hard slicks.

I suspect that this is a gathering of the Oceanside Oilers.

Above looks like an Olds or Pontiac? Is that just a cover over the carb, or some kind of marine intake or?

that's alan parker's t as featured in the sept. '64 issue of hot rod. the t that pretty much got me into the type. fetching gee gee malone is the girl.
the engine is a mostly stock '57 pontiac and a home-made scoop/air filter. trans is a b&m hydro and rear is a '53 merc with 4.27 gears.

    i love this car.

A lot of Hamberheads put me down when I use wide [ 8" ] rear tires. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy the looks of narrow tires. This rod has a great look. 27 touring body.jpeg
