image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hello everyone, me and my father acquired a 1954 corvette at auction. The car came from California and was very heavily modified a long time ago. I’ve been trying to find any information on it but I’m coming up short. I know a lot of corvette guys will hate this, personally I think it’s pretty ugly but very unique. I’ve never seen anything like it. Whoever did it put a ton of work into it. It looks like it was done for a movie or something along those lines. If anyone knows anything about it or knows someone that might know something about it, please let me know. I have better pictures but it wouldn’t let me upload them. Thanks for looking

I like Most of it! Get it rolling and push it outside for more pics. Those two things would made an i.d. a whole lot easier. Congratulations and Please share your findings!!

Thanks, I do have a bunch of pics of it outside but they wouldn’t upload. It said they were too big.

  5. I like the grille. Does give off some movie prop vibes. Or just somebodies early '70s show car. Maybe it had some history from before this round of mods?

That is so cool, except for those stupid horns on the front spoiler, looks batman like from the back.

If the front and rear spoilers were gone it would look respectable.

and at the IMCDB site no luck.

The tires might help narrow down a time frame. Wings were mostly post HAMB, the rear wheels and tires certainly are. Just a WAG, but I'd say early to mid 70s or trying to emulate that period.

Nothing here, there may be other threads.

I can’t say I have ever come across this one before after growing up around corvettes since I was a kid.

Ugly with a capital Ugh! Loose the whale tail first, then the chin spoiler. Then the rear flairs if you are liking where it’s heading. Restore its red candy, and replace the Keystones with chrome ones and you’d have a respectable homage to the 70’s.

I feel like it needs a blower or stack injection sticking through the hood to balance out that ridiculous wing.

Wouldn't change it otherwise since it's already done. The world doesn't need another near stock 54 Corvette.

Well wait, if you got some American Racing five spokes. Like 12" rears and 10" fronts so they're sticking out of the wheelwells, I'd do that also.

Yep! Fibreglass is easy to work with.
It wouldn't take much to remove all the hideous crap and put it right.

    Like a tumour :p

True. And the world doesn't need another "Gasser"
This car would be a very good candidate for a streetable "modified production /modified eliminator"

    example
    [IMG]

Note: this car ^^^ is D/G so it is a "gasser" , so why aren't the headlights pointing at the clouds? :p:p
