I’m stoked, body is getting delivered on Thursday. Having a shot of my dads favorite, chassis is ready, body been undercoated. Let the fun continue

 

Already for show time tomorrow

Will be checking back in tomorrow.

 

Well now you have to find 4 mates to lift the body onto the chassis while you supervise and make sure no paint gets scratched. Stressful times but a great achievement when that body is bolted down.

Amazing! You wanted it finished, it sure looks like you are getting that!
I look at those pictures of the guy spraying in an open space with hub caps, wood rafters and windows, and it doesn't look like the common booth of today. But the way that paint laid down speaks to ability.

 

Man that blue looks nice. I’m gonna have to think hard on my next respray and maybe be a little bolder on color choice than I usually am!

Washington Blule ?

 

I started with a Porsche Manaus Blue, couldn’t get a color code from Porsche without a vin #. I took my I pad to finish master and just matched a color from my iPad Porsche Ad to a book of blues. Dodge Strata Blue was what I chose.

Got it up on better skids

 

Coated the floor with bed liner. And no I’m not using dyna matt, the floor is too f-ing nice to stick that stuff on

 

Working on fitting the tank and horn covers. The right one fits like doo-doo. The left one is original to the car fit like it should

 

Wow that's way off.ive got a new set collecting dust you could have for postage if you can't get that one to work.but they may fit bad too...

A few hours of massaging the wood top kit…….close but no cigar. Take it back out and massage it some more
