Hmmm, no rear suspension so the quarter elliptic springs are for a bench seat?

It depends on what body is put on; sprung motorcycle type saddle off the steel frame or bench in body, mounted off the springs

One good thing the Government of OZ did. If the marketplace can't support a business, the people as a whole should not be compelled to do so through taxation.

Well, this thread has been around for 17 years. One of the longest running threads on the HAMB. 13,580 replies or posts and 3,421,429 views. The ironic thing is that it's not American hot rods!

Some great featured cars over the years, it would take some time to pick my top six.

  18. So given it's popularity, the numbers of viewers, have there ever been any current attempts to allow this automotive form on the roads in the USA? The closest legal form here in Connecticut would be a three wheeled vehicle that is classified as motor cycle. One can get the DMV form that defines what the builder must have on said motor cycle, but a cycle car? Not from what I can find on a google search.
All the best to you and yours during these Holidays.

It is a Morris Minor. Possibly the OHC model, or the later side valve.

You can build most any kind of "custom build". Most states, if not all states, have rules to allow it. You have to have receipts for all major parts and comply with lighting rules. That is how hot rods get registered.
I had quite a difficult time registering my JZR 3 wheeler build because I bought a stalled build and the receipts were not in my name and there was no "Certificate of Origin" for the kit. My wif searched the Fl. DMV and found an "invoice" from the factory would be accepted. I was able to get the factory to issue an invoice to me. I had to take my computer to DMV and show it to them to convince them.

Are you talking about a small homebuilt car that looks old?

Insurance is a bigger problem than registration. Before spending a lot of money and several years to do a build check with your insurance company first.

Okay, it is a roller; at least I can push it around now, until I have time to work on it. P010125_0953.jpg
