I'm just about right in the middle of Missouri. 20 mile south of I70 on 63 south.

  2. James, Andy, it looks like this storm has shifted slightly from tracking just north of I-70 to about 15-20 miles south and heading almost dead east - right through you both, across southern Ill. Indiana, Ohio and eventually into W. Va. and southern Penn. I've got 2.5 inches of sleet here, my sister has 6+ inches of snow just east of the Country Club Plaza in K.C. and my son is just north of you, James, in Columbia. He says there's a nice layer of ice there, too, beneath the snow. I'm staying inside the next couple of days and studying wiring diagrams, trying to figure out how I'll route the tach wire from just above the driver's side window to the negative on the coil. Also trying to figure out the voltmeter wiring route from the stock dash to ???

20250105_112247.jpg although the only work I did on this was to push it outa the booth, I thought you guys might like to see this. Still needs to be cut and buffed.

  5. Beautiful, Colin, and it appears to be warm and dry there, too. More of that! Send it here, the sooner the better.

It was in the low 60s today, nothing near what you guys are dealing with... but we do pay the sunshine tax here:confused:

Just stay safe. It’s supposed to be heading your way. They said south of 70 will get the worst of it. Since I am just south of 80, I’m glad the snow and ice took the south route.

If your dog is like mine it's thinking "cripes, I hope he doesn't make me go outside and do my business in that".

The little guy was a bit skeptical this morning but finally went for it and has been having fun playing in it. He was no help digging out this morning.

    not work, play
sometime in the past I gathered four NOS Eelco mini breathers and a couple reproduction Engle stickers
you know, like the stuff on the valve covers of a relatively well known car.
yesterday for fun I stuck some of them on a valve cover on one of my side projects..

the inspiration and the side project:

Are you going to go back and tig in filler where the holes don't need to be?

Looks like it may have started out as a 4 bolt Mustang II ?

  23. All I know is it made my head hurt looking at it LOL

Some guy was looking for a replacement for it, I would've like to have seen the back side to see where the holes lined up with the webbing. Maybe it didn't have webbing at the center, but it sure is an odd placement of holes.

Made this random parts pile wiper motor (I think it's 59 f100) work on my 59 Ranchero. Drivers side only due to interference, but I can drive in the rain now. IMG_20250104_163049.jpg

This was to be my winter project but I got started later than I planned. I am building a "special" or a cycle car themed vehicle. Harley powered with an automatic transmission. It will be street legal but mainly just something to use locally or to cruise in at events. A mobility vehicle.
