    They were strapping skates to shoes long before a skateboard was dreamed of.
    They weren't called "dress shoes" they were everyday shoes.

    The first Chevys built in Buffalo NY., hit the road the summer of 1923, and were built at Buffalo Assembly 1001 East Delavan Buffalo NY., soon the plant was making 8,000 cars per month. The Buffalo NY. plant was a major player in Chevy’s surge to become America’s second most popular automaker. In 1941, after 18yrs and the production of over million automobiles the plant was converted to defense production

    Frank Coon, on the left with Jim Travers, founders of TRACO Engineering. They built all kinds of engines but some of their more notable clients were Lance Reventlow and Roger Penske.

    With those hairstyles and skirt lengths that would be the late 60's and they would have pantyhose on. Pantyhose did away with the need for garters.
