    Hello,
I am in love with this roadster. I saw it in the model A thread. Does anybody have any information on it?

I think it's a hemi, not sure. So it has a boxed model A frame? Can that frame handle the horsepower? I would love to know more about it. I can't get it out of my head. It is perfect.

348-409 Chevy. Yes the boxed frame can handle the HP. Unless it is an extreme high horsepower build

    Rear Divcos, right?
That top and windshield look bitchin in profile, but you are looking thru the wheel like a little old lady (tall guy grumble).

    Beautiful car, no doubt!

Just for the edification of the OP and anyone else who may be wondering, the Chevy W motor (Mark I Big-Block) is about the exact opposite of a Hemi from an engine design perspective. There is no combustion camber in the cylinder heads on W motors. The heads are flat on the fire deck, like a diesel engine. The shape of the piston crown and the heads being mounted at a non-perpendicular angle to the cylinder bore axis define the combustion chamber. In other words, as close to a true "wedge" motor as you can get.

W Series Head - Look Mom, No combustion chambers.

There's a throwback reference. I think I actually found and joined the HAMB after reading a thread about that, 20 years ago.

The roadster in question is really pretty, but I'm confident I wouldn't be able to sit in the driver's seat with the top on.

  16. I don't know how tall you are, but I remember Eric driving it cross country a few times.

I think the car is still in Eric’s neck of the woods as I see his current roadster with the W powered one now and then

Dipstick on drivers side makes it a 348, right?
