i'm with ya on the exhaust and certainly a fan of the 'basic bucket' style. although i have a fondness for mismatched wheels generally speaking.

@Snicklefritz65 a couple of great examples of tonneau covers there.
I like the wind resistance mod from the guy at the drags! Open it up!

heh, my first thought with that windshield was the wild f1, touring cars, can-am, and top fuel spoilers.

but yeah that windshield is otherwise like pushing the side of a barn down the track.

Hey that's me over 60 years ago back when the bucket had a junkyard flathead and I had hair LOL
The flathead is long gone, so is the hair but I've still got the bucket.

Thanks for sharing that. I completely understand that a final show push means no new video. I wish him the best in getting it done and glad to see it's together that far.

That is how I built mine. I have 17,000 miles on it, and it drives great. I can run it at 75 MPH down the freeway, comfortably.

Piero is a great bloke. He did a video of my T-bucket for one of the Mad Fabricator videos when he was here in Australia on one of his visits. Will be great to see his Tweedy Pie. I got to check out and sit in his A coupe when we visited him in 2013.

Yes Rod, Season 8 Episode 5. Piero was here in Australia for the Chopped Event at the Newstead Racecourse and Eddie Ford and I took him to visit some early Aussie hot rod survivors so he could shoot some video. There were 2 Episodes featuring Aussie stuff, numbers 5 and 6. I'll have to dig them out and revive the video machine and watch them again as I've forgotten whats on where.

wish i could get out to the wrong coast especially for something like this.

alas, the culture shock might be my undoing. :D

  28. Paul, I Don't have a color shot of Johnny Day's T from SLC, but it was purple with white fogging.
