Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Charlie Chop, Jan 30, 2025.

  1. Hi all. I've recently bout a 1930 model a coupe to hot rod and it has allot of play in the steering but on inspection I don't recognise the steering box. It's not like any model A steering box I've ever seen. Can anyone shinensome light on this.
    Thanks

Looks like an F-100 box. Randy Gross is the guru on these. His conversions use a new 1 piece shaft. A lot of them welded the shaft so failure was common. steering box.jpg brakes randy gross.jpg
