You gotta do it at least one time. Almost no muscle cars and 60's/70's trucks. The majority of the cars are pre 65. I've never seen this many old cars at a show and I've never seen so many beautiful customs at one show. It's probably 60% hot rods and 40% customs.....maybe 70/30. I think i saw 8 Zephyrs today. Most of the 36 Fords I saw were customs. The list goes on and on. The outdoor "cruise in" today was the same. Love it!

 

@Tom davison , seriously fine photog work again. Make my pics look like tin types in comparison...maybe brownie or Polaroid when I'm really on my game.

I look forward to both of them every year. I swear I'll make it there in person one day.

 

It’s been over 25 years since I made the trip. I spoke to Barris, Winfield, Isky, Roth among others. Blackie G was so friendly, made me feel like a friend. Showed me around on his scooter, introduced me to some of the OG guys.

 

Even though some are older builds, Tom's pics and other coverage I've heartily followed have proven CUSTOMIZING is STILL ALIVE......

 

I've been waiting for some Tom Davison pictures to appear on here. Super high quality and excellent photography as always. Really like the picture of the maroon 27T with the Ardun that won the AMBR a few year's ago. Great looking photo. Thanks for posting all of your photos. Looking forward to more!!
