Checked into the Holiday Inn at Diamond Bar.

Forgot that we never did find a decent restaurant here. It’s only a few miles from the Fairplex.

Lots of Asian take out places. Ended up choking down some food a Chili’s again.

No wonder Californians are so slender. No restaurants in this state, except along the coast.

 

We are in a middle row but at least it’s on the end and not the middle middle.

Just seeing this thread now, darn I wish I had seen it sooner. I did see the car though at the show and got some shots of it. It reminded me a lot of Tim McMaster's red T, Ruby, when he showed it in the Suede Palace too. Very cool, I remember when you started that Father/Son project with your dad. I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner, or get to meet you at the show.. I hope you have a safe trip home.

 

Whats the story on the Model A frame?

 

I bought it for my next project.

 

So being in high school in the eighties I’m a big hairmetal band junkie. My favorite band being Van Halen. My buddy Ryan calls me Saturday while at the show and say get ur ass over here Michael Anthony the bassest for Van Halen is standing a few feet from me. I hightail it and super geeked out and had him autograph my hat! The people you see and meet is crazy.

 

For the woodie?

 

Yes for my phantom Murray bodied 28 woodie.

It was fantastic to be in our booth all weekend and have you across from us. Looks like you had a killer time. Just an FYI Jimmy Vaugh checked out your roadster and we overheard him say he liked it.
