For those interested. Being a local band i've probably seen Golden Earring perform at least a dozen times. Radar Love eventually evolved into a 15 minute session, public had no problems with that. Seemed like they would go on forever so the shock was heavy when they called it quits. The three healthy band members now have other musical projects going on.

 

Had to get my morning dose of that one..... Now I feel better....

 

Not about the band but radar. I remember as a kid on our Route 66 trips from Texas to CA the New Mexico Highway Patrol used Jeeps and Pickups on the roadside to hold the big old surplus radar units to catch speeders. Usually the radar holder was jacked up with a wheel off and the operator was dressed like a farmer. There two very official looking patrol cars hidden to chase down the offenders.

 

I only recall their song Twilight Zone, mainly from MTV. That song might have got airplay on KROQ in the 80’s.

 

In this case the angel needs to be flicked off the shoulder…

 

At least I kept my shirt on.

On the beach boulevard at The Hague . The big hotel & restaurant built in 1886, demolished in 1976, apartments finished in 1980. The Tudor style is still there.

It is at my house, especially in the morning!

 

There were more contraptions made to put on a T than any other vehicle I know of. Is there a thread here about?
