Am I alone in my thinking that there is something in common with the logos?

Impala are good, but I wanted to see the Model A. Oh, well; not my car/not my choice.

  19. LOL. I had it at the Roc last year, and it's out and about around town, so I have been running it. :) No more Impala pics on this thread, I promise...sorry for the hijack and the scare that I was gonna sell the A. Back to our regularly scheduled program. Haha

I don’t mean to alarm you but I think your suspension is busted. But it’s still a sharp car that I would kill for!

  22. Yeah, after Lee sold the car, it had an air ride set up put in it. I' still trying to figure it out and get the settings sorted out. I can't say I have a love hate relationship with the air ride....right now it's mostly hate. Everything else I own is static dropped, and the Impala was when Lee built it.....if this thing doesn't settle down and start behaving, it's gonna be static dropped again. ;)

  23. Nothing new to report, but it's still here, getting out and about, having fun with grandkids. I have acquired a B motor and a 37 transmission if I ever get brave or bored one day and decide to perk it up a little. LOL

  26. For what it is worth if it was mine I would keep the Model A transmission (that is what I did on my '31 RDPU), too much work to put the '37 transmission in. Cut the Model B pan (see photo) and bolt it in. An alternative would be to get a Model B transmission and transfer the gears but you would still need to mount the brake and clutch pedals and the wishbone.

    Your car looks great.

I’m gonna need a ride in that thing this summer. Every photo of the rides are 100% smiles with goofy hats can’t beat that!

  28. Thank you for the suggestion @Charlie Stephens! At this point in my life many of these projects I am looking for the "quick and easy" way out. LOL. I have ended up with a Clings adapter set if I decide to go with the 37 trans which should make it easier and "closer" to a bolt in.

@Tim I'll "try" to keep it together and running until you get here! LOL

  29. I need another sedan, a coupe with 5 kids ain’t cutting it.
