I was able to talk to Neal yesterday and look at his 5W. Photos make it look very good but in person it is amazing. Quite an accomplishment to bring that old Ford to the stellar condition we see now. Neal has accomplished his vision of what a 5W should be and I look forward to its completion. There is nothing I would change at all. Beautiful!!!

Here are a few pics from Josh's vendor booth at the show. Post your pics if you have them. I'd like to see some good pics from someone else's viewpoint.

It was great meeting and talking to so many people from all over the world. 20250202_145519.jpg 20250202_145506.jpg 20250202_145449.jpg 20250131_095252.jpg 20250130_163613.jpg

Truly a work of rolling art. The details and the thought that went into parts selection and body modifications are just on another level that most will never achieve.

@NealinCA is a craftsman in the finest order.

  12. I didn't want to be the spoiler but now I can say that the firewall color was leaked in the pictures about cleaning up the running board rubber, you can just spot a sliver of color coming off the side of the firewall.

Thank you for the kind words, but I'm just a home shop builder like the rest of you. I know that I do tend to obsess over details, but that's just what makes me tick. Research, overthink, build, repeat...

Clearly you have an amazing eye for details & the talent/patience to see it through, well done. An inspiration to those of us also banging away at home to lift the bar. None of the compliments are over stated.

As mentioned early on, the absence of the under grille pan really lets the front axle show its shine, even room for a radically chopped version or corner pieces that follow the smile of the axle without hindering the view.

I do plan to add some filler pieces either side of the grill chin, to hide the front crossmember.

2 of my cars have the same BLC 904a headlights as yours. Beyond that, you win by 1000% !

I love your work. Keep it up.
