  3. Doug,
You are an inspiration. These things are made to be driven. I've gotta get mine out too!

I hadnt seen this thread before, so glad I found it. Great build great story. Looks like you're dialing it in. Fresh painted engine in a sweaty hot rod - thats how it would have been, spend the cash on the the drivetrain.

Didn't you say there were 2 cars ? When does the next build start :D

Well I have been trying to figure out how to create some more garage space. I would love to start mocking up something with fenders this time.

And the next one might be slicked up. That body would not have to be buried in bondo to make it smooth. Just a chopped top, no channel, and lower it as much a possible via the suspension. Who knows when.

  11. Anyone know if Doug is still with us? I did search an obituary that might fit, but would rather that he is still around enjoying this creation. I know no activity here for a couple of years…

    daylate,
I can assure you Doug is alive and well. As a man of many interests and talents, he's busy with other pursuits these days. No grass grows under him, for certain! However, I'm not sure what the status of the survivor coupe is. Maybe he'll pop in here and give an update.
