That’s one hell of a lathe. The GE Steam Generation Tubine shop in Schenectady NY had a few long ones like that when I toured the plant in the late 80’s all wood floor. 8 x 8’s on end.
My 2 older brothers had a large Erector set that was passed on to me. It was one of my favorite "toys". I incorporated it in with my electric trains. Legos are cool but the erector set with a motor and all the screws with nuts allowed the imagination to go wild.
Never mind Shakey's or Burger Chef. I'll take a Papa burger, basket of fries and a large frosty mug of A&W Root Beer any day.
