I have seen were several of you 'fellas' have shipped your cars cross-country...
I have a 'nothing-special' F-250 I need hauled to the Houston, Texas area.
Do any of y'all have a good recommendation ?
I Garggled Auto Transport a couple days ago and my phone exploded 5 minutes later !!
    Brokers !

Any actual direct shipping companies to contact ?

    Thx

Don’t feel alone. I contacted what I thought was an individual company in early June, who posted it to a broker site. The car shipped mid June, I’m still getting messages asking if I still want to ship the car.

I now have the name and number of the local (Tacoma Wa) I can call directly if I ever need to do it again.

I can vouch for Bill Squires. He’s a good guy and fair priced too.

  7. Thanks @chevy57dude & @SS327 , but Denny that is not my last name! LOL

Honestly I don't have any openings any time soon for that transport & actually already have a Florida to Texas on my schedule for later this spring.

Larry Hann is based in South Carolina & is one of the small handful of quality transporters I trust 100% with my customer overflow. Since I believe you are looking for open transport, he would be the one to contact. I believe he is a member but not active. Call him at (864)934-3473 & tell him I sent you!

Information for the future.....Uship is 90% brokers & if you ask for a quote from them only give your email address NOT your phone number or you will be sorry for the next 4 months! Also when you do a search like the OP did, you will get all brokers as well.

    God Bless

I am so glad I asked the question on here on the H.A.M.B. about shippers of trucks & cars ! Larry & Evelyn gave EXCELLENT service at a good price.... They delivered the truck ahead of schedule ! (Me tink there was a LOT of hard driving to get to Houston as quick as they did !!)
Larry was very impressive with his work and a real pleasure to talk to. (Good old 'Mercan Boy who was EZ to deal with...)
He's a busy man and I don't wonder why....they do excellent work at a good price and over-the-top service !!
I'd use him again and recommend him to others

  13. Mike,

I appreciate your positive feedback posted for Larry & Evelyn! Customer feedback is very important on a public forum.

They are on my short list of Quality Transports who are also Honest & Life Long Car Folks. I have to feel 100% comfortable with them or I will not share their info with customers I cannot help....I take my reputation very seriously.

    Thanks Jeff @5window !

    God Bless
