Hello, The above photo of the dark blue hardtop sedan looks like a 1966 Chevelle Malibu Hardtop model. So, the single photo of the blue experimental Corvair hardtop needs to have another car next to it for comparisons. The lower photo is a real factory model of Corvair from 1965. The similarities are there for more scrutiny. Jnaki If the Corvair we owned was a 65 Corvair or the Blue/White model hardtop, instead of the 62 Corvair coupe, it would have been a keeper. 140 to 180 hp with a turbo would have made it a lively small car for fun driving. Better seats, sleek styling, and More HP would have made those runs down coastal PCH so much nicer... But, being a couple of 20 somethings with a funky old Corvair, we adapted until we couldn't... I think the one in the middle is either showing a little leg for the photographer or rippin' off a big fart!!
My Uncle who was a teacher at Holyoke High lived there with a nice view of Mt. Tom which he climbed yearly until his old age prevented him from doing it. Still have a cousin living there. Good memories , Thanks.
