I don't think it does. I was looking at that too before you commented. I think it's just the angle of the picture.

 

I think it is an optical delusion.

 

It's the way the stay rods are higher at the front. JW

The best people I've ever met own or have owned A's... what's not to love.

 

this is a 60 plus years ago b&w photo I took of one of my favorite 29 roadsters ever.
Dave Whitehead of BC Canada had this black, white and chrome channeled roadster that was spectacular.

I wish I knew. I saw it at the Shasta Roadster Show in ‘63 per my note on the photo. I also saw it at the Sacramento show at some later date, but have no photos. That could have been as late as 1968. I recall something being discussed about the car and chain of owners here on the HAMB. I recall reading as it still being in BC or Washington, but I could be in error. Getting old. The simplicity of it being in black, white, and chrome was a major cause for its spectacular looks.
