I put a set of those headers on a 1964 Plymouth Savoy 2 Door with a max wedge 426 stage III, that I was trying to make a street sleeper to get races p***ing it off as a 383. Even feeding thru mufflers those damn headers had a pinging of each cylinder firing that you could hear a block away even at idle. First time I pulled in at a gathering place known for street racers arranging races for cash. When I tried one racer there said I don’t know you or that car, but if it’s half as bad as it sounds we don’t want any part of it!
Wow! this takes me back.About then i took up the long board, just like these and remember well like that guy lower left, how ****** hard it was to get your arm to stretch around the rails to carry those big ******s!OK if you were right on the beach, like here;but when you needed to traverse sand dunes or cliff faces to reach the waves.....weeell!
