I need a double filament socket for turn signal or stop light. 1157 type, but I need shallow one, or 90Deg type? any ideas?

Funny you should mention modern sockets; I just bought a similar socket for my daily driver truck and I was looking at it last night and wondering why I spent time messing around with the currently made Chineseum 1157 sockets when I made some custom park light housings for my '47.
Sadly,the junk yards I grew up with in this area have turned into recycling/crushing yards. A guy can no longer roam aimlessly through rows of cars on a Saturday morning looking for parts like I did when I was a teenager. HRP
Modern, non-led tail lights have plastic sockets and usually quite shallow. Check what's on your daily driver
Lasted until about 15-20 years ago around here , special dispensation for some of us older guys with common sense ...
I got these AmericanAutowire sockets from Summit. You don’t have to use the hold down plates, but they turned out to be a life saver for my buggered up tail lights. I can’t get a good measurement on them installed, but the are not as deep as the original FoMoCo socket…
I just bought some repair 1157 sockets at NAPA for mine. They came with 6" leads attached. Once I snapped them in I bent over a few ot the little clips as I don't plan on replacing them, and wanted them to stay put.
