I had the opportunity to buy one many years ago and I've been sorry I Didn't ever since.

1963, the year I got my license 53-52-51 even 50 Chevys could be got for $100.00
A really choice 53, maybe $200.00. Some with 3 on the tree, some with Powerglides.
Almost all with rattling doors and windows, sagging or no headliner.
Some would have the doors fly open on turns.
But we still loved them.

 

The look was so common we didn't appreciate it as much then as we do now.
