I have searched the world over and can't seem to find... Steering column wiring diagram for the turn signals and horn on my 53 sedan. Does anyone have a direction they could point me in, or possibly a diagram they would share? Stock column, factory wires. TIA

The horn is the single wire, probably tan. Also, the 1954 Chevy Supplemental shop manual should have the wiring diagram, but it might be hard to read unless you find an original printed manual.
It turns out after trying to match old wires to new, and testing for continuity, one wire leading from the turn signal switch in the column had over time became damaged inside the jacket. I pulled the whole thing out and testes the switch and found out it was bad too. Luckily, I just happened to have another complete column I unsoldered the old wires from that switch and attached new color matching wires. the trick was to feed the bunch down the column and out the tiny hole while in the car. Hello, Caveman. I soldered new wires to my switch as well. 15 years ago. That is why I couldn’t give you wire colors on my bar stool diagram. I salvaged wires from a 1988 colony park station wagon. The front turn signals are separated from the back turn signals by the switch itself.
'53-'54 turn switches can be repaired. Bend the tabs & SLOWLY pull the thing apart. You'll find a tiny contact spring broken or it's full of dirt & gummy stuff. The spring in a Bic lighter is the right size, just cut to fit. Light lube & replace.
Tie a string to the lower wires. Pull switch out. Reverse pull string back down. Magical things happen the wires are back in place. In the factory we had a plastic string to do this. Have never found a source for it outside the factory.
