I would love to get my hands on a Teddy Bear plate! It would look good framed and hanging in my den along with the other automotive stuff I have in there

I'm a 32 Ford guy, live in 32 county in NE. I've had 32 B 32 for 40 years. Ran it on various 32's, is now on my 3 window.. You'd have to be a 32 Ford guy to understand. After I painted my chopped deuce shop truck with Krylon satin black I applied for and got the specialty plate KRYLN32. Explains my handle on here.

Some of my interesting ones. I had never seen a "lost" plate before. Going to run it on my 34. 20250316_222242.jpg 20250316_222305.jpg 20250316_222344.jpg

The plate tells a bit of the story. I found the car from a SF newspaper ad, because of its cryptic description. It was something like this: “ford 51 392 T400 9in mags coupe” plus a price and phone number. Back in the nineties, Sunday newspapers were still the place to sell a car, and ads cost a lot, based on their column inches, so they were kept as short as possible. The ad caught my attention and I really was not actively looking for another car; but I went and looked and bought it, nearly 30 years ago. It has been a continuing money sink in slow motion.

The NWT plate is more common. I got this one in Fort Smith, NWT in 1972 but they aye $50 +/- at shows. The Nunavut plate is harder to get-fewer people in the territory and not produced as long. They're usually well north of $200. I looked for 10 years for a reasonable one, then got it in a trade with a next door neighbor. go figure.

That’s how it always works out LOL. The most exotic plate I have is one from Hawaii that was on my sister’s car when she was living there for a while and that was in the late 80’s.
