I give all posts a thumb's up regardless of the content as a thanks for your time and for the post even if I don't agree. I must say that some of the criticism always struck me as jealousy. lets not ruin a good thing.

There are still several ore carriers of this design and era plying the Great Lakes. A few of them (including the Arthur M. Anderson, last I knew of) winter over in my wife's hometown of Sturgeon Bay, WI for maintenance and repairs.
