With my lengthy original Visions post and sickness….. This one is the shorter post “Double Vision.” With Poverty Caps on the Drivers Side and Passenger Side with out. The passenger side has one rim with bigger OD bumps and the Cap will not fit. So here is both sides. “Double Vision” Enjoy.
Leaning towards the dog dish caps, but chrome lug nuts on the other side may swing the vote towards the passenger side. The plain lug nuts with the painted wheels just look like something is missing, needs that little extra the chrome lug nuts provide.
I absolutely love the old F-500/800 hood scoop, it looks like it has always been on the car, the hub caps look good and it looks good without them, damn nice car Cob. I believe Pontiac used the same scoop on their 62/63 421 Super Duty cars. HRP
Originally I thought I would like the caps better, now I don’t know. I may never be able look at a car from one side ever again! Lol Maybe leave it in the double vision stage. What about spider caps? Dan
Bitchen car. I like the dog dishes just because I think it needs a little “jewelry “. I could see chrome reverse on it too. Like that color.
How about eliminating the muffler and putting in a y pipe and dual tail pipes on it so you can make up for low performance with NOISE !!!!
Kind of like my dog- all bark, no bite, however people who don’t know her stay clear. Your Tempest with a growl, and the attitude it has now will keep many from picking a street fight. Lol Dan
Love that Tempest...but I don't know... If I saw it at a show I would think one of two things, 1) He lost 2 caps on the way to the show...or... 2) Sure hope he finds 2 more caps in the flea market so he can complete a set of 4. Doing that on purpose would never cross my mind. JMHO.
Cob, How about hitting up the photoshop guys to see what spider caps and chrome lug nuts would look like? There's just something about the "unadorned" side that has less appeal to me. And; o-b-t-w; how 'bout straightening the right-side bumper spear? I'm with Anthony: I'd drive it. One of my very favorite cars in my high school parking lot was Roger Kirchner's '64 GTO. I like 60's small Pontiacs.
