    Had a lot of 318s, never saw one with painted exhaust manifolds, or that color. They were legendary though, tough old motors, took a real effort to kill one.

    looks to me like he has the right hand protection, I believe those nitrile (or how ever the hell you spell it) gloves are fire proof right?

    The 241 rear gears didn't help. I have built several and the first thing that goes is that open 241 or if you were really hot 273 ratio. Wow. Great highway car though. The 5 speed did not come along soon enough.
