I'm looking at 1941 Ford Panel that is for sale near me, that has no engine or trans...does anyone know if some later model (60s-90s)engine/trans will easily slip in? I'm getting old and the arthritis is kicking in, so I dont want a major project..I dont really care if it's a v8 or a 6...Thanks in advance!

Nothing is easy, that’s the fun

  3. I know I'm going to get blasted maybe but a small block chevy and th350 will fit the easiest. Just a bit of massaging to the x member for trans pan clearance. Chassis Engineering used to sell a great mount kit for this. Good luck. Mitch

  6. Chassis Engineering went out of business a few years ago but I believe HEIDTS bought them out. Someone will chime in on this I know. It's a bolt in kit. :)
