No, poser would be if I didn't golf. My game was not good but in the mid 80's after a lot of time off...I'll take it. Best part of my game was witnessed on the 19th hole where I had a few very good shots.

Even the big courses have their share of giant spiders. I've played alongside water moccasins, alligators, crocs, Gila monsters (they love sand traps) wolves, coyotes and ROS (rodents of unusual size).

My daughter finished up the German square weave floor mats. Funny, most cars are carpeted and have rubber floor mats, this one has rubber floors and carpeted floor mats.

AC charged and blowing cold! The guy was not cheap but he knew what he was doing. Only had to rebuild 2 of my lines, unfortunately one of them was from the condenser and there is not much room coming around the radiator in the truck. The other was a leaky crimp on the bulkhead charge line.

Time to get the break in oil out so I will put it back on the lift and get after it.

I'm running out of things to do on it, dare I say it is done?

Good timing on the AC, I have had a fire for the last few nights, warm weather coming.

At the PIR swap meet yesterday I picked up a few things for the PU.
One of the criticisms some had on here was that the fog lights were too high. I totally agreed! Rumaging through a box of stuff I came across a pair of very low light mounts. Perfect to change the altitude and attitude of those lights.
I found some time today to bead blast and polish the rough casting.

This not only saves money and time, but I get exactly what I want from my chrome shop.
    Fog2.jpg
Those get dropped off Monday, I bet they are done by the weekend so I can mount them.

I put a single reverse light on the PU when I built it

I found a topper in a box in one stall and gave the guy a 5er for it

Ran it across the buffer and put it on the light today.

    Cool!

Another item I was not happy with was the license plate bracket in back. The adjustable bit was worn and did not hold the plate firmly. In fact, it was always bobbing around which did not please me. I found a SS license plate bracket (after market) for cheap and replaced the slider bracket. It now holds the plate like it is supposed to.

Good swap meet stuff, $15 spent but good improvements!

This is the fun stuff, making little improvements to a vehicle that you built from the ground up. Nice touches!

Right? The guy had boxes of vintage bits and I saw those and had to own them. 10 bucks and a trip through the chrome tank and that will set those lights down closer to the bumper. No clue what they are off of, no casting numbers on em.

I ran by the chrome shop around 2:45. That were plated by 3:30. Love it when a plan comes together. Thanks chrome Troy!

I installed the newly chrome light brackets. Here’s one up and one down
    IMG_7047.jpeg
    Both installed
    IMG_7049.jpeg
and being shorter I could move them away from the bumper guards.

They also sit further in, away from the bumper.
    IMG_7050.jpeg
I consider that a swap meet score

It was 10 bucks for the brackets and $20 to plate em. If it would have cost $100 to drop them...meh. $30, done and done.

Oh, and no the truck doesn't leak. That spot in the garage is usually occupied by the Oldsmobile. I have done 3 main seals over the years (2 ropes and currently running a Ford FE 2 piece rubber seal). Drippy mofo.
