The auto was a 1957 Corvette Fuel Injected. ALTERNATE QUESTION: I believe through my research and conversation with Ernest Grimm back in 1978 that I own his car. Does anyone have the "License Number" or "Serial Number "that would confirm my belief.
Hello, I finally found the results and story on the 1957 Nationals at OKC. Buddy Sampson with Lefty Mudersbach "Money Olds" FED won Top Eliminator. But, in reading the whole article a couple of times to see all of the details and results. This is what popped up. A strange ending result for the Sports Car Class in C/Sports. Jnaki There is an old grainy film out on You Tube showing the 57 Nationals. So, you can check those out. Currently, there are no other sources for the final results, unless someone at the NHRA archives division has a stack of history in the files. And, expensive programs from EBay. YRMV
