@saltflats that enderle barn door for a 4-71 is a rare piece I’ve only seen one in the last 30 years unlike the 6-71 style I’ve seen hundreds to run one of those units you needed one helluva engine under it the amount of airflow is almost too much even the hilborn units are a lot but manageable and all of the new EFI stuff can’t sustain that much airflow they have smaller butterflies and throttle bores even though they are awesome and I would love to have one I could never afford and engine that could use that much airflow lol

I think that is a Wico that was modified and adapted to the flathead by George Pounden. Pounden used Wicos magnetos and later produced his own too.

I put a little thought into mine. I ran this on my 360 inch small block Chevy in my 65 Chevelle. I sold it later at a swap meet and maybe a year or so later I seen it on this truck in a car show.

It for sure is the same one. That project was my first time running a vertical mill and tig welding aluminum. It was built using a crossfire lower intake. I collected over 25 carburetors to come up with 4 the same.

Yes they are, anyone have info on where a guy might get some? I'd have to throw my fabricated ones in the junk!

Denny, do you think someone may have cut those out of plate and made them look like castings?
