I hope you don't lose that wiper if you have to turn it on....it doesn't look seated very well....what's the deal with that?

  2. Yes sir, @54delray. I intended to finish a 50 convertible I started over 40 years ago with a working top from an article in a 60's model magazine. I kept staring at it and just couldn't get myself motivated about it, so I put it back in the box and pulled out the coupe and started cutting....a heavy bodywork slammer is a lot less daunting. LOL

  3. It's seated as far down as I can get it. I guess the hole on the off-shore wiper arm is smaller than the off-shore spline adapter. Aggravating that it's so hard to find stuff that actually works and is decent any more....even from name brand sellers. But, in the end, like most early Ford's, the wiper is just about nearly useless anyhow and RainX is the answer. LOL

  4. Another 2-minute job for you-install a protective boot on the BAT hot stud on the alternator. A swing of a wrench, contact, and it's a dead short there. Quick fix.

I expect you to go home from a show with a tiny chrome bullet where the wiper goes and the wiper goes in the glove box lol

I enjoy post like this one. Its kool to see a Hot Rod or Kustom converted and fixed the right way. Love your improvements and I can't wait to see it. The square wiper blades are just too kool..... Lol!

Yes sir, I have my shoebox already chopped, I plan to get after it soon and finishing it.

  13. Most awesome! Thanks @guthriesmith for arranging the pickup. It's going to be hard to not just want to switch out those wheels at the show this weekend. I bet I can't help myself and go ahead and do it. LOL

Thanks @stubbsrodandcustom. I've been following your build and love your sedan! Funny, after I got this one, I searched and there are way fewer 33/34 sedans here on the HAMB than I thought there would be.

  14. I can throw my steering wheel puller in the trunk…

  15. Mine is already on the tools to bring list. LOL

    2. of the Stray Kat 500.

    In that order.

Thanks man, just a guy and a garage here. Sedans are nice to stretch out! Back seat is like the presidential seat!

  25. It is surprisingly spacious. We are about to find out how much when I load it up tonight for the Stray Kat this weekend with tools, spare, luggage and a couple 51/52 Chevy grilles for @RMONTY and bringing home a set of '56 Old's headlight buckets for the Tbird and a fresh '34 dash. LOL

Truthfully I’ve been trying to snag a set of these accordion gates that clamp to the running boards. These kids pack so much more than me lol
