Yep. Bought a SBC to merc set too. $20 for something we spent a week at school building The y-block ones got my curiosity up. Box was unopened until I bought em. Might use em on my next merc
Would love to see how this set in the car. I fit a y-block early on in the build to check out the fit. The rear sump truck pan still needed room to clear the x-member. Bet these lift it up for clearance.
I have never used them, but I have seen them or similar one in an old hot rod. I know I photos, but I need to go through three different memory cards to find them. I will see if I can find them.
I bought a set of those C-T adapters in the 1969, never used them and gave them to my nephew in 2012. I think they will work OK, though the hole for the lower radiator hose to p*** through is a little hokey. At least these fit p***enger car timing covers, the Hurst Y-block adapters require a truck or Bird front cover. You can always put spacers under these raise the front for clearance.
Idiot me forgets I got a y on an engine stand Hole clears the fuel pump @Okie Pete here ya go welded spacers to clear the pan lip well I be.
