Projects Good old fashioned HAMB Relay?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by porknbeaner, Jan 7, 2016.

  1. Hey fellas the Roadster Show is coming up. I am trying to get my cowl top and hood tops to Terpu to be punched.

Sooooooo anyone headed in that direction that would be willing to and have room to haul the hood tops and cowl top from my '29 out for me? It would really help with the project and make me smile a little bit too.

    Thanks
    Benno

  4. Yep
I would say that he is a sharp kid but I think I have known him about 12 years now so that is well past the kid stage. ;)

  10. Thanks
I guess that I was a little vague.

I would be willing to meet someone on the road if need be.

My pops and 3 others are leaving out of Rapid City S.D. in a dodge magnum. Not my car or know if they are interested in doing this, plus getting the parts to R.C. . Just throwing it out there.

  13. Well that would make it an old fashioned HAMB relay for sure. We had a Whippet cowl come to KC from upstate New York once by way of Houston. I don't think a soul carried it more that 300 miles. ;)

If you'll ask 'em we can certainly modify this and see if we can make it happen.

or while I am at it if someone was leaving from Tulsa it would be a good excuse for me to go see the Mother in law, she's getting up there and I like her real well. ;)

  15. Well I haven't bumped this in a while. I would sure like to get these pieces to @TERPU to get a serious louver punching and I am sure you want to haul them. :D

Yeah- I always got along with my Mother In Laws- it was their daughters I had problems with!

  18. I have had this one twice and she is the only one I have actually gotten along with. Of course her daughter is the only wife I have actually gotten along with too. ;)

  19. How about a simple bump, maybe someone hasn't seen this. :D
