Neither did I ! It cost me $10 I think, but I told the old guy I’ve never even seen this can before, so I had to have it! The Auto Bingo had never even been opened. Pieces still in the plastic bags. Everything pictured cost me $47. So not too bad. The antique stores and what not I would have spent more than double that. Garage sales are the best! I grew up in Maywood, on the west side of Chicago, that’s why I snagged the trunk emblem. The die cast “Men working” was like $3, and I do public works and streets now for a living, so figured I’d put it in my office.
That's awesome, I'll be on the lookout for one of those. I like the can opener too, I have a whole collection of those on a rack in my garage.
The contents of the box are serial numbered for traceability and that round stamp ID’d the individual inspector that checked them. Neat package to have. My FIL worked in a plant that produced gears for helicopters, here’s the stamp he used at work.
Picked up the large port mopar small block manifolds for a friend a single cal custom so I don’t have to weld the fin on mine and the guy had this snap on meter thingy
That’s so cool! To be honest, I haven’t come across anything really exciting lately either—just the usual routine. Lately, I’ve been pretty happy just finding some new clothes for myself on cettire. It’s great because the selection is nice and the deals are decent, so at least I’m refreshing my wardrobe without breaking the bank. Sometimes, that’s better than nothing, right? It’s those little wins that keep things interesting until something really exciting pops up
My recent swap meet finds. And this killer smoked lexan hood scoop. I dug this beat up four speed shifter ball out of the bottom of a dollar box. The stories this thing could tell. Had to be in something cool and at one time chicks and beer were probably involved.
This is a picture of, I believe, a 1935 Studebaker truck, which I believe is exceptionally cool and hard to find.

Chiseled the heads off of many rivets to free this monster from the side of a semi trailer this weekend, had to have it due to the meat-related graphics. With thanks to @Mr cheater for helping get it down and taco'ing it into two different vehicles for the ride home (it sprung right back into shape once removed). Apparently their claim to fame was that they made all of the pepperoni for Pizza Hut at one time. It'll clean up some, and the black part is better in person, just a sun-glare in the first pic.
LOL! Call up your local vinyl sign shop and ask them if they can produce "meat related graphics". Be sure to record your phone call!
That must be an old one. It's "Allpax" today, used for cutting circles in gasket paper. It should have come with a square cutting board base, 18" or 2 feet square or so. Maybe check back at the sale to see if that's still around?
