Had skirts on a 54 Chevy convertible. Couldn’t decide which way I liked best. Ran often with one only. Switched sides often. On a Tudor sedan I don’t like them. On a hardtop maybe.

Some in Missouri called them that. I don't remember many.

Yeah, I'm loving that skirt trim idea. You can have credit for being the first to do it, but you won't be the last.

'39 Merc custom skirts !!!
These are flush mounted with the fender. It's not until you get up close that you can see they are a separate piece. From a distance the rear fender looks smooth from front to rear.
