Powell Pickups and station wagons. Factory was was in either Paramount or Compton, not far from where I grew. All used 1941 Plymouth frames and running gear from local junk yards. Was one of these about a mile from my grandpa's cabin in Big Bear for years.

So ugly they're kinda cool.
