Projects Need help with mounting of 292 y block

I'm currently restoring a 1955 ford ramch wagon and got the engine rebuilt. However, when I try to mount it the front mount is about an inch forward but the engine mounts on the cross member line up perfect. What am I missing?

FYI
I did try reversing the motor mounts and looks like it will be further forward. Please help

 

Was the engine from a Tbird?

 

No original to the 1955 Ford Ranch Wagon
