The first video on the Tudor was awesome. You've already chopped it, awesome! It looks great so far.

Looks good, but I was expecting it to be a bit more radical based on your comments in the video.

  4. Yup it was the plan, that was quickly turned down due to legalities for licensing in Aus.

  10. So, lots on the cards- roadster related not a ton.
However I did get the read end finished and installed- but I need to play around with the rear spring setup to get the ride height roughly where it will sit. Once done I’ll get it installed for the final time!
In other projects I played around with some acetate from a sungl*** company I collaborate with and made a cool dash insert for the 32 Tudor.
Lots of trail and errors with sand casting- this is
something I’ll be spending a ton of time doing in the future.
Oh and had another baby boy! Week old today!

"Oh and had another baby boy" way to slide that in... Saw the birth announcement on IG, but Congratulations here as well.

What's the deal with the copper bucket headlights?

  13. Haha! Those aren’t copper but more trying to match the patina on my head lights- wanting to create some signal lenses

Hello fellow Jordan, Awesome work! I'm also building a 29 on 32 rails. I'm ultra curious what kind of creative solutions you will use to permanently mount the body to the ch***is. Happy building!

  16. IMG_2683.jpeg Well, where too start. First off I certainly wish that this build was a daily upload and progress was faster- but we all know life doesn’t always play that way. It’s been full on. New born son, a three year old and lots happening at the shop. But still managing to squeeze some evening when the house is asleep to create a few pieces, make progress on the roadster and fine tune the sand casting venture.

Firstly: The Radial Flyer- is almost finished. And I drove it yesterday to the paint shop for the first time. It’s hairy, fast and needs attention with brakes and shifting, all things considered it’s turning out pretty cool. (For a 1960 Loaf and bread.) IMG_2173.jpeg IMG_2452.jpeg

Secondly: SandCasting- I’m obsessed, literally obsessed. Ive made my own green sand and starting designing all sorts of fun stuff! Trails and errors and literally enjoying every part of the process. Made a Throttle pedal, signal lights and a licence plate topper for the van. And many other ideas.

    IMG_2379.jpeg IMG_2384.jpeg IMG_2389.jpeg IMG_2390.jpeg IMG_2397.jpeg IMG_2407.jpeg IMG_2411.jpeg IMG_2413.jpeg IMG_2338.jpeg IMG_2341.jpeg IMG_2316.jpeg IMG_2325.jpeg IMG_2305.jpeg IMG_2277.jpeg IMG_2264.jpeg

And lastly: The roadster. Today I removed the T spring as it was too low and the ‘36 radious rods were hard on the bottom of the frame. So a swapped out a cleaned up stock model a spring.
I’ll check ride height and rear wheel placement tomorrow. Still need to finish welding quarters and dash, I want to drive this thing.
also I scored a Isky 404a roller cam which I’m excited to get installed. Lots more to come on this, I want to drive it.

Yeah I love that stuff. I regret never giving casting try. Infinite room for creativity there. Your stuff looks great.

I’ve loved seeing the cast stuff! The lettered pedals are fantastic!

  19. Well not a whole lot of progress over the past few weeks but good news is all the parts needed to finish off the car arrived. This is huge.
Mean while I plopped in another radial 3 cylinder mock up motor just to see if it would fit..
it’s no flathead but it’s kinda cool- would be a wild setup.

You should build a cycle car with the 3 cylinder radial. A smaller version of your previous speedster… I love spending other people’s time and money!

Really digging the turquoise eyes. Think some of this will be available for purchase or just for in shop builds?

  26. Slow progress on the roadster but chipping away. sand blasted the hubs and opened up the rear windows. Still need to either plug the front hub stud holes and re-drill or figure out another option. The holes are slightly larger-

Would anyone know the size of stud used to hold the hub to drums?

Blasted and acid treated them. I need to get them surfaced for the shoes and get some paint on them.

Also on the to do list is make another drive shaft. Once that’s done I can paint everything and install the new transmission.

A big hurdle I’m faced with at the moment is my new Walker radiator. It’s standard height for a ‘32 and I need to remove 2.5” from the core. Now everywhere I called said re core or just a flat out no. So I better give it a crack myself and try and keep the retaining core just less 2.5”. I know it will be difficult to attach the bottom plate to the tubes. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Scored some Muroc air cleaners that are cool.

The cast pieces really get me going, I cast bronze sculpture in school building my own furnace later on but never got around to firing it maybe it's finally time!

This is off the Boling Brothers Web Site:

wheel stud to be used when converting original 1940-1941 Ford front or rear hubs to use our Lincoln style drum (1126L), sold each

You must remove the original drum and studs, reaming the stud holes to .600

Not sure if this is what you are looking for regarding the hubs and stud, they also sell the .600 reamer.

Love the car and the U Tube channel!
