Thanks for the pics! The 62 Dart and 63 Sport Fury Max Wedge cars belong to a couple of friends. Both are “tribute” cars but the Milne Brothers car itself has direct ties to the Milne family and the legit 426 Max Wedge residing in the car was purchased from them after exhaustive research into the car’s history. Warren has become good friends with Mr. Milne and had it lettered up to replicate the Milne Brothers race cars that were campaigned back in the sixties.

Maybe some people had cleared out by Sunday, but when I was there yesterday it seemed like the number of prewar cars was down from previous years. I only saw a couple of the 1930s cars in your pictures (I admit it's a totally unscientific observation).

I got there around 6:30am for the swap meet and even though it was already 85 degrees, there was a good breeze so it was fairly comfortable. However, by mid day the heat was pretty brutal.

My groups routine is to go to the show all day on Friday & Saturday. On Sunday the guys go to the swap meet first thing, then we leave right after that to make the trek back home. I know many others leave Sunday morning as well.
Yes, the prewar car count has been slowly going down, but that's been the case for the past 20 years. I don't think this year was significantly different. Luckily I have the problem of liking a variety of years from the 20's thru the 60's, so there's always something to look at.

About half of the cars that are there Friday and Saturday do not show up on Sunday. It has always been that way. I think those people came from a ways away, and use Sunday as a travel day to get home without using up any more vacation. I go to the swap meet on Sunday then leave. The heat didn't help turnout either.
