Just simply beautiful. I love your choice of oxblood and ivory.

The bottom is all foam, but the back has springs, right? Can you tell us why you didn’t use all foam in the back too? I can testify that original 32 springs under your butt are rather bouncy and will rock you from side to side. I understand the reason for the foam base.

I would have used the spring on the cushion also but is made it too high
The foam can be made any height, I used the backrest spring because I had it

You did fantastic work . And you have researched , the seat springs to raise you up rather high vs. foam seat . I noticed this about finishing the real springs in my 32 . Really high in the saddle !

Very nice! I dig the colour scheme, cream rolls and piping opposed to the burgundy. Trad but not "Grandpa" or too bright, and cohesive with the wheel.

    FANTASTIC!!!!!!

  27. Would you share any details on the construction of the foam seat base; like grades of foam used & why along with adhesive used to laminate the pieces.

Interior is looking good, for sure.

53 lb foam for the cushion
Or very dense if you will
The bolster is also very dense
I also put a layer of 1” Dacron batting on the bolsters
Glue is landau top adhesive, same as every upholstery shop uses, sprayed from a cheap siphon gun

    Really nice.
You gotta be pleased with the way it came out.
Can I ask... what's the purpose for the oval shaped cutouts in the lower portion of the back?
    Thanks!
    Very inspirational.
